Dennis P. Lockhart is the 14th President and Chief Executive Officer for the Federal Reserve of Atlanta. He is responsible for all the Bank's activities, including monetary policy, bank supervision and regulation, and payment services. He also chairs the Bank's Management Committee and serves on the Federal Reserve's chief monetary policy body, the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC).

His previous positions include faculty member of Georgetown University's Walsh School of Foreign Service and adjunct professor at John Hopkins University Nitze School of Advanced International Studies, managing partner at the private equity firm Zephyr Management, executive vice president of Heller Financial and president of Heller International Group, and variuos positions with Citicorp/Citibank.
